Silver Airways Adds a Ninth Interline Partner, Alaska Airlines

David (Dave) Pflieger was the President & CEO of Silver Airways from 2013-14 when it was a successful $160 million company that operated nearly 200 flights daily within Florida, as well as to Washington, D.C., the Bahamas, and points beyond.  During his time there, Dave Pflieger and his team laid the groundwork for the addition of a number of new interline partners including Alaska Airlines, which once it was announced in October 2014, was the airline’s ninth interline partnership.

Through the new agreement, Silver Airways customers can purchase a single ticket that seamlessly connects with Alaska Airlines’ full range of destinations, which number more than 100 and span Canada, the United States, and Mexico. This partnership offers a distinct advantage in assuring travelers of one-stop baggage check and check-in, when transferring between airlines. Alaska Airlines customers in turn gain connectivity to Silver Airways destinations, such as Key West, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale. Popular Bahamas destinations include the Abacos, North Eleuthera, Great Exuma, and Grand Bahama.
