A former executive at Fiji Airways, David (Dave) Pflieger led initiatives to rebrand the organization and expand services to new destinations. Under his leadership, the company underwent restructuring to improve its financial standing and built a new identity to connect with consumers. Dave Pflieger also added Airbus A330 aircraft to the airline’s existing fleet.
With a cross-section spanning 222 inches, the Airbus A330 provides optimal comfort for traveling passengers. The model offers a variety of cabin layouts and seating arrangements, including first class, business class, premium economy, and economy class. No matter the type of seating layout chosen, the A330 model gives passengers the luxury of being no more than one seat away from an aisle. In addition, the optimal cabin design makes it possible to include multipurpose storage zones, social areas, and a bar. Flight crews are also extended secure rest areas during longer trips.
Other amenities include newly designed air conditioning outlets, lateral lighting, and in-flight entertainment. Mobile phones service is available during flight as well as special LED lighting, which is useful for sign visibility and passengers who wish to read.
