Business Aviation Brief: Maverick Helicopters Expanding Into Hawaii

Maverick Helicopters, an air tour operator that flies routes in Nevada and Arizona, is expanding into Hawaii beginning in spring 2015. Maverick will open a base in Maui, Hawaii, its fifth permanent location, providing tours over the island. Maverick will use Airbus Helicopters Eco-Star EC-130 helicopters for the tours. Maverick currently operates more than 40 of the helicopters. The company also operates Beech 1900D and Cessna Grand Caravan 208 fixed-wing aircraft.
