Business Aviation Brief: Baldwin Aviation Develops New Emergency Transport Service Operations Program

Baldwin Aviation, the South Carolina-based business aviation consultant that has a specialty in safety management systems (SMS), has developed a new SMSTransport program for emergency transport service operations. In addition to aircraft operations, the program includes safety issues and concerns faced by clinical and ground ambulance operations. Baldwin Aviation rolled out its new program during the recent Air Medical Transport Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. SMSTransport treats aviation, clinical and ground ambulance as one unit rather than separate operations.
