Boeing Lowers Long-Term Air Cargo Traffic Forecast

Boeing, noting signs of a strengthening air cargo market, nevertheless lowered its long-term air cargo traffic growth forecast by 9.6% compared to two years ago.

Boeing’s latest biennial World Air Cargo Forecast, released Oct. 7, projects air cargo traffic growth of 4.7% annually over the next 20 years, down from the 5.2% annual growth rate it forecasted two years ago.
