Embraer To Firm LoIs, Gain New European Operators By Year-End

BARCELONA — Embraer is expecting to firm up the letters of intent (LoI) it signed at the July 2014 Farnborough International Air Show and add another two European E-Jet operators to its customer base by year-end.

During Farnborough, Embraer signed an LoI with Azul for 30 E195-E2s and purchase rights on a further 20 aircraft. It also announced a deal with Trans States Holdings—parent of Trans States Airlines, Compass Airlines and GoJet Airlines—for 50 E175-E2s, plus 50 options, which was “subject to certain conditions.”
