Business Aviation Briefs: Breitling To Launch Limited Timepiece For AOPA’s 75th Anniversary

Swiss watch-maker Breitling is commemorating the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association’s 75th anniversary with the launch of a limited-edition timepiece to help fund a Breitling Aviation Scholarship program. The commemoration celebrates a partnership with AOPA that spans 60 years. In 1954, AOPA selected Breitling’s Navitimer as the association’s official watch. The 2014 commemorative watch was to be unveiled on Oct. 3, just before AOPA’s Homecoming Fly-In on Oct. 4 in Frederick, Maryland.
