Future USNS Trenton JHSV5 Launches

Austal USA recently launched the Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV) Trenton from its shipyard.

The ship is now ready to start its final stages of construction. Trenton will be the U.S. Navy’s fifth JHSV.

“The JHSV program is benefiting from serial production,” says Capt. Henry Stevens, Strategic and Theater Sealift program manager at the Navy’s program executive office for ships.
